Yeah it was pretty stupid to bring Luke, but to be fair she did have him hide when Killgrave showed up, and obviously she didn't know he was being controlled the whole time, because she didn't know that the time length had been increased because Killgrave had taken all of those chemicals.

Why did Jeri's lover showing up at exes house at exactly the right time? She rattled off some excuse but narratively it was a huge stretch just to get her there.
