This movie was insultingly bad. The plot was all over the place, the motivations were vague as fuck, and the whole love plot was so contrived it felt like I was watching a god damn soap opera.
Only good part was Frenchfu rocking the fuck out of that silver dress.
I liked it a lot.

It was sloppily written, but pretty much everything else was good to great. Not a great movie by any means, but very watchable and better than at least half the Bond movies.

I thought it wasn't that bad. The whole premise of Bond being driven by his past and darker feelings worked for me... but yeah I can see that it was all on a comic like level.

this confused me too - blofeld explicitly said that the tiny drill was going in exactly where it would remove bond's ability to have memories... and then it just doesn't have an effect? and they don't think to mention why? or did i miss something?

Blofeld it a sadistic asshole who maybe just played with Bond's fears. Maybe he wanted to frighten him and torture him for a much longer time after that 2nd drill. But yeah it was a bit confusing.
