Because being out of bullets would stop Him from killing the guy who killed his step parents and caused qt Eva Green to die.

That and the paperwork of executing an unarmed suspect in view of hundreds of witnesses. Believe you me I wish James had shot him but it just wouldn't be cricket.

Generally, I really enjoy a film in which realism has the center attention. I want to experience losing myself into the story.

I don't particularly care about the hero, drama or characters, as long as it doesn't look silly.

For example, character never getting shot in close quarter firearm combat or never running out of ammonition. How boring is that? Hero can never die.

Fantasy and sci-fi can look realistic too. Game of Thrones and Star Wars are my favourites. Although latter is a space opera and it has a protagonist who is really difficult to kill, it's still great. Game of Thrones' first seasons were refreshing for their exciting habit for having lovable/hateable characters dying all the time.

>space opera

that's just a marketing label. It's a science fiction movie, sci-fi for short. It's just a meme, like "diferences between film and movie", know this from now on.

No disrespecting your taste in movies, just pointing out some forum standards.

And now you know

Lucas created Star Wars and he actually labels it as Space Opera (explains how it's a subset of fantasy in ESB commentary) , so it's Space Opera as per the creator's intent.

the odds of you dying on the front lines of a conflict aren't enormous
generally 10% casualty rate is enough for your unit to be pulled back

wasn't bashing by the way, just stating facts.

That's an entirely different medium and an exaggeration, not a genre difference. Lucas says it's in the space opera subgenre with some fantasy elements.

opera is a theatric medium that employs music and singing exlusively. A science-fiction movie played in cinematographs is not an opera.
