my local channel is showing Star Wars episode 1 to 6 this week. I've never watched Star Wars before, so I give it a try considering episode 7 is coming less than 3 weeks and i didn't know anything about Star Wars universe but it looks like this is the most anticipated movie this year.
Right now, I'm watching Episode 1. 30 minutes into it, even though I like the epic scale and the set design, the wooden characters, dialogue and acting really threw me off, and I really can't stand that awful comic relief.
Does it get any better from here guys?

The Prequel trilogy is cringe-worthy to some. Everyone has pretty much agreed that either 1 or 2 is the worst so good luck with that. 3 is redeemable because of Sheevposting. After that, 4 and 5 are arguably the best with 6 being the start of the kid-friendliness but not the worst. Just give it a try.

You fucked up, Opie. You're supposed to watch IV, V, VI to get drawn into the world, then severely lower your expectations to watch the prequels.
