It was stupid of DC to introduce Batman with a Batman vs Superman movie. We don't even know this iteration of Batman yet, and we're already supposed to choose sides? Well, I choose Superman because he's had a movie and Henry Cavill isn't an ISIS supporter unlike Al-Afleki. Marvel got us emotionally invested in the characters, and now two superheroes who were former best friends are battling it out. That was smart, people have an emotional investment to the characters and want to see how it'll play out. Here we know 100% that Superlad and Batguy are going to kiss and make up and form the Justice League with Wonder Woman. It's just not as exciting as Cap and Iron Man battling it out after having been on the same side for 2 movies, and each of them having more than one solo film so we can REALLY get to know these characters.

Of course I know who the character of Batman is but every new iteration has been very different than the last. Just compare Tim Burton's Batman to Nolan's. Now, if this were Nolan's Batman about to go up against Cavill's Superman, then that would be a lot more interesting because we've gotten to know both of their characters quite a bit.

It's fucking boring. The action and dialogue are completely separate. It's tons of boring exposition, then a few minutes of pointless action, repeat.
They tried to make Superman a Jesus metaphor and it fails hard. One of the reasons being Superman was conceived as a Moses metaphor.
Superman doesn't seem to care about anyone or anything, which makes him more of a monster than a hero. Sort of like Godzilla.
Jor-El didn't warn Superman about Kryptonians, and Superman didn't consult Jor-El when Zod made contact.
I'm so conflicted.
The Captain America movies are the only Marvel films I actually like more than Man of Steel. But I feel like Civil War is just going to be Avengers 2.5 in that there's just way too much shit going on and too many characters in play even if it ultimately is just about Steve and Tony.
Batman vs Superman(and DC in general) has the luxury of fielding far more well-recognized and well-known heroes(with the exception of Cyborg to an extent) compared to the C and D-listers Marvel was forced to use after selling off Spider-Man and X-men film rights, so it's not like you really have to waste time on introducing who fucking Batman is, and Superman having gotten his own movie already which leads into what's going on in this one.
On the other hand, the supporting ensemble was one of the issues I had with MoS, to say nothing of Clark's parents, so that'll be the real hurdle for BvS.
