Which James Bond film would you like to see be remade? I would love another Goldeneye, the mid 90's special effects and props made it kind of cheesy and would be fantastic if it was made with today's technology. It was also one of the comfiest bond films imo but could have been better.
All of the Craig Bonds are just a rip off of Goldeneye.
Watch those you dumb kek.
Goldeneye literally doesn't work in the modern era. The entire film is about the downfall of the Soviet Union and the end of the Cold War. They tried to update the story for the Wii game and it was a mess. Also
>remaking a Bond film
lmao

>Which James Bond film would you like to see be remade?
All of them, because they're all shit.
>Remade
>Without Brosnan
No

Why the fuck would you remake the near perfect Goldeneye?
It's a fucking classic that has aged wonderfully. It doesn't need to be remade for 30 years.

Die Another Day could use a remake it was so bad. As long as the bond girl isn't fucking Halle Berry

This. Craig was good in Casino cause he was edgy as fuck and had a great poker face, but other than that he doesn't have the charisma to be an action star like Brosnan. You could literally edit any other actor's face into Craig in QoS, Skyfall or Spectre and nobody would care

Isn't Casino Royale a remake?

Yeah of the Niven meme film

Prior to this week, I've never watched a James Bond movie all the way through before
Here's my opinion of them so far:
"Dr. No" - Pretty good, I liked it
"From Russia With Love" - I didn't like it, very mediocre. Bond doesn't really do anything exciting.
"Goldfinger" - AMAZING! I loved it the whole way through. My favorite so far.
"Thunderball" - It was alright, I enjoyed the underwater harpoon fighting.
That's all I've watched so far. I'm watching them in chronological order.
I was just rewatching Goldeneye for the first time in years and completely forgot how bad some of the effects are.
This plane crash looks like something out of old school Godzilla.

me
Oddjob is my favorite character thus far. That dude is a machine.
i'd like to see the bond girl as a SJW

Bumping for Bond enthusiasm
>>63163321
would you rather have seen that in mid 90s cg?

I'm probably just having a selective memory/nostalgia, but I always associated Bond movies with practical effects and real stunts.
>remaking what is essentially a period piece that won't translate into anything contemporary
>remaking based onatopp with no janssen-like current actresses
don't be that guy
>>63163677
It seems like they're just going to remake everything at this point.
They'll probably start doing shitty remakes of all the most popular Bond films within the next few years, some young actor with no charisma in front of a green screen and the total package of contemporary action cape shit snore fest.
>what is essentially a period piece that won't translate into anything contemporary
I almost throw shit at my TV/computer screen every time the trailer for the Point Break remake comes on.

Ah man you are in for a treat. Kind of agree with your ratings so far as well. FRWL and TB are really highly rated but for me they are pretty slow and boring but Goldfinger is considered an absolute classic for a reason.

Brosnan wasn't even that good of a Bond. Sean Bean carried that film, and even then Goldeneye is very overrated.
Also I don't have any other Bond .webms
