However, I do think he deserved to win Best Supporting Actor for Django. His performance is head and shoulders above Waltz's (which was much weaker than his turn in Inglorious Basterds), and yet Waltz won the Oscar while Dicaprio didn't even get nominated. Early rumblings are that he will almost definitely win this year for the Revenant, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
