Thoughts on Creed? I thought it was solid. The Rocky/Creed scenes were great as was the emotional moments between Creed and Rocky and Creed and his mom. Pacing felt off though and all the scenes with the musician girl slowed the movie down and added little to it.

For one, the guy who directed it pretty much begged Stallone to let him make it, Stallone was really hesitant, and the director had to work his ass off for Stallone's seal of approval. I don't remember much about Rocky II since its been years since I saw it but I remember loving it as a direct sequel to Rocky before the series got silly with Rocky III and IV. Is it really deserving to be so low on people's lists?
I also remember liking Rocky V a lot but all I really remember is the Rantlers scene and Rocky's motivational speech. I just assume the rest was so horrible my brain erased it.

I didn't enjoy 4 or 5 much at all, so I'm not even going to list them. Material was stretched so thin by then. It took them what 20 years to figure out an interesting way to approach it again. Haven't seen Creed yet so can't rank it yet.
The main villain looked super soft, and he's supposed to be taller, so how would they be in the same weight class?
Good movie besides the love interest and relatively weak villain though.

Rocky 4 is best Rocky. Also Creed looks decent. Im hesitant to watch it tho because black Johnny Storm is in it. I just dont like him is all.
