I like watching shit while tripping but usually only on smaller doses or towards the end of a trip. Otherwise you probably won't be able to focus or the visuals may be too intense. Granted that it's a good legitimate stuff.
But as far as the Simpsons it seems like a waste. You'll probably enjoy it but there's so many great trippy animated movies and they are also some of the best animated film ever.

i stay away from trippy stuff when i take lsd because everything is trippy already, and anything that's really out there usually freaks me out. the character designs alone in spirited away would freak me out too much
