John Glen also believes it's the best film of his career. The stunts and special effects are phenomenal. It also has great bond girls, a refreshingly straightforward story, and hands down the best villain of the franchise. Robert Davi is fantastic as Franz Sanchez.

The reason bond was losing numbers was moore. View to a kill did so bad and was so stupid it pretty much soured the public on taking bond seriously.
Also the DUDE DALTON RUINED BOND LMAO Meme is stupid. LTK got less in the US cuz the marketing team had to redo at the last minute cuz Licence Revoked wasn't dumbed down enough for Americans. Dalton was going to be in goldeneye, cubby wanted him, it was written for him, and well marketed so it was gonna be a success no matter what. He turned them down because he was tired of waiting. Then Barbara broccoli LITERALLY killed bond with brosnans last two that they had to 180 tone it with Craig.
Also, most bond actors literally don't do much after bond. Lazenby went into the real estate game, Connery had shit till untouchables then shit till the Rock then retirement, Moore just stopped, and Brosnan thankfully survived after DAD.
