What's everyone local cinema like?
Where is the falcon's perch?
Memes aside it's good, but it's getting invaded by too many curry fucks
Ours only allows Kestrels
I live pretty far inland so the crab legs are sub par

Thank you based mods.

nah
Most are ok; but one group of people keep hogging up all the showers.
It's ok, the tower guard could be friendlier though. Also don't get why they always have to blind you with their searchlights.
pretty shit actually
>2 shit screens
>shit sound
>shit seats
>looks to be a moldy room
I haven't gone there in years though so it might have changed now
It's allright
shit-tier snack bar though

KINO THEATRE
>>63064988
>went to see summer flick
>it's actually a kino
everytime
Not "local", but Fox built some opulent movie theaters in the late 1920s. These days they're mostly used for stage productions. Pic is what I think is the largest, in Detroit.
I haven't been to my local cinema in a while. I driver further out of town so there's less niggers around
>>63064345
this is the nearest cinema to me, around 50 km it has 6 halls and 1023 seats in pick is the biggest hall from this cinema
>>63064964
>shit-tier snack bar though
i don't eat or drink at the cinema because i go there to see a movie not to take a snack
Casuals.
Outside view.

looks like shit compared to

Small theater on our Main Street, only got upgraded to digital projection/3D in the past couple years. Only $7 for a movie, with matinees during the week going as low as $3.
This is fucking joke, right anons?
Its £3.50 a ticket. This is my local community one and I'll show you the big one now
>>63066045
>>63066045
£12 a ticket here
>>63065865
If you like moulures go to the opéra.

Sure it looks comfy from the outside, but the original is in dire need of renovations. Most of the seats have broken springs and are super uncomfortable. The sound is also terrible.
I actually went to the Twin recently and the sound in the cinema on the right was fucking brutal. The movie was unwatchable. I don't know if the speakers were fucked or if it doesn't have a sub or what, but there are many moments when sound is missing because the speakers they have can't produce the frequencies. Sounds like when you blow out your speakers.
I prefer the Apollo now.
>>63066045
Where is that?
>>63064487
Looks like a great place to be murder senpai.

>>63066083
>£12
ARE YOU AVIN A LAUGH????
>>63066105
Yeah that one on the right has a seam down the screen too. Or at least it did earlier this year
>>63066187
I was joking f.am, looks very nice and personnal.
I used to lived near this one until it closed, it had the reputation to be the biggest conventional screen in Europe, dont know of it was true but it was amazing for the blockbusters.
>>63066187
How's Bernard? He banned my friend from there lol.
there's this place called the cinemark near me and for small showings they have these rooms with these big comfy leather chairs that recline backwards. The rooms only fit like 40 people. its nice
>>63064345
Pretty shitty, it's really cold inside during the winter and they switched out to digital projectors only a few years ago.
I love it
Most popular theater in the city. Breddy gud desu.
>>63066235
Absolutely terrible. Can you confirm if the sound is shitty on the theater on the left too at the Twin?
I remember another thing that kind of bugged me. the last Ghibli movie was playing there and they were only playing the dubbed version. Ended up going to the TIFF Lightbox to see in Japanese with subs.
Another thing I remembered is went to see a movie on opening day and they sold out, so I asked if I could buy a ticket for the showing tomorrow then and they said I'd have to come in the morning the next day. Fuck that. I went to Galaxy instead.
The Louxor was crazy.
>>63066280
Who is Bernard? Banned from where? What did he do?
>>63066205
No, and that's for a non 3D film with non premier seats, I swear the tickets here were about £8 last year or the year before
>>63066294
That is depressing.
The sound is awfully loud in India. People sells ear protection for the strangers.
Never found an explanation.
>>63066391
Bernard Kearney, the owner of Jane Bond and the Starlight. My friend called them 'disgusting people' and Bernard said 'Don't come back.' What a hipster faggot.
>>63066542
oh that fag. didn't know he owned the place
>>63066045
comfy as fuck, is the inside nice?
I live in a small rural community, this is the local cinemateque. They only shows movies several months after they premiered, and the showers have only freezing cold water, but at least they let you bring in any food you like.
>>63066784
>showers
wut
>>63066837
Well they're too poor to afford baths
who /westlothian/ here
>>63066784
Huh this looks a lot like one of the screens in the Showroom cinema in Sheffield
>>63066285
Same here.
