Weirdest Malick movie, there is no real narrative structure despite the movie being cut into chapters, very few dialogues, like 10 different voice over, Bale's character always looks lost and look at the helicopters and planes all the time because you know flying into heaven symbolism, some nice ass and tits though.
I don't fucking know if I liked it or hated it, it was very weird, some sort of metaphysical poem.

I thoroughly enjoyed the two first X-Men movies, First class, BB and TDK, and to some degree The Avengers, Thor and Iron Man for what it was. Didn't like CP2 and I have not seen Watchmen.

There are probably some superhero comics I could appreciate out there that intentionally set out to attack the concept of superhero as pop culture figures and the people who read them, but any interesting comics that did exist would never be the ones to be given adaptations. I bet there are some good ones since the production of a comic book isn't some huge multimillion dollar expense so risks can be taken and people can be alienated without a studio going under, but there will never be a good superhero movie since they intentionally have to aim right at formulaic mediocrity. I've enjoyed comic book movies before in fact, just not superhero trash. Road To Perdition, Ghost World and A History Of Violence are acceptable films. No marvel mass market shit ever will be.
