When Christopher Tolkien dies, I could see some hack getting permission to write more books. I hope not though.
The Silmarillion could make for some good movies, but they'd probably fuck them up. And Christopher Tolkien probably has some legit wizardry set up so he can come back to life and strike people down if they try to make any Silmarillion movies.
