This. The best part of the show was it being tongue in cheek but then they started being serious with little comedy which showed how shit the actual show was. The CGI stuff was nice in sections but once they started using it constantly, it started getting annoying and boring tbqh.

Going to agree with the general consensus. When it was tongue in cheek and over the top, it was hilarious. Once they switched to Halo 3, they started taking themselves WAY too seriously, as if they were creating a real drama with a fucking video game. There have been some funny bits here and there since then but it definitely lost most of its appeal with that transition
