>25-30 YEAR OLD PEOPLE PLAYING 'HIGH SCHOOLERS
DROPPED
You know, these things always made me think Americans just grow up faster. Grown up people acting like adolescents, really confusing shit.

The thing is I was in a school with lots of bullying it never happened like in Rebel Without A Cause.
This is terrible movie in that regard. Cant take it seriously.

Every high school movie is like that....

School bullying was actually much worse a few generations ago. Bullying severity and frequency has been steadily dropping for a long time now. Old 50s movies with hardcore bullying in schools is more realistic then you think.

Old people playing as teens and kids is my biggest pet peeve. Like ancient granny Olesya Rulin playing an underage girl in "Powers". She is 29 now and was at least 27yo during filming. And it fucking shows.

in high school most kids looked like they were in middle schools, while about 10% looked like genetic mutants with full beards at 15 and shit

Movies like "O" would have been fucking awful if it had cast teens

Which movies had believable high school casts? This one comes to mind.

There has to be a term for the effect when older kids, even just by 1-2 years look older. For instance a fifth grader looks like a high schooler to a 3rd grader.
