In the tie-in game, if you got knocked over by an enemy your hat got knocked off, but if you walked over to it he'd pick it up and put it back on.
If you made it to the end of every level with your hat still on you unlocked invincibility mode.
It's just a little thing but it shows how much those nameless devs cared.
Oh yeah, and it's a good film too.

I mean both of them have this solid adventure feal to them. The characters are constantly in some sort of strange environment and the plot moves perfectly along with the exotic locations.
watched it as a teen in cinema and beckinsale gave me a 30minute boner.

I fucking loved this movie, I watched it loads of times when I was younger. It's pretty fucking cliche but still entertaining to watch. Don't understand why it's so underrated. Tasteless plebs being tasteless plebs I guess.

Van Helsing has almost the same plot as Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein, it also has a few scenes that are very similar.
Beckinsale is 11/10, Huge Jacked Man is pretty good in it.

Always enjoyed it, felt like The Mummy on speed, which was entertaining.
Had some pretty cringy moments - Beckinsale's accent, the werewolf antidote/mcguffin and a few too many side characters.
But the breasts on the vampire wives + Beckinsale's ass + Jackman as a solid action hero + Richard Roxburgh as an over the top villain = fun.
