This is literally the dumbest explanation ever
It's clear in the movies that Sifo-Dyas is an assumed name for Sheev or Dooku. Jango Fett outright says he's never heard of Sifo-Dyas and was hired by a "man named Tyranus". Obi-Wan even says that Sifo-Dyas died before the clone army could have been commissioned.
George Lucas may be dumb, but the EU writers are even dumber for missing out on basic context clues
