Are there any shows with as many big moments as this?
Each season started pretty slow, but towards the last 3 episodes of each season, the intensity became so good.
It also has the best adaptation of history into something enjoyable, even creating the most entertaining dialogue to listen to.

No OP.
Spartacus is probably the hypest most exciting show I have ever watched. Definitely in my top 5 shows ever made. Only few shows that comes to mind that match the hype of Spartacus areGurren LagannandKamen Rider Fourzebut those are weeb shows so idk.

It's a shame there was only one season.
>>62995730
Nah there was two seasons, and a flash-forward finale with some other guy playing Spartacus and fighting a whole Roman army.
>>62995730
Oh fuck off.
Season 2 may have started off a little odd but it definitely pulled through at the end, and Season 3 was fucking amazing.
Losing Andy was a tragedy but Liam did a great job, and is also a total bro. I met him and talked to him after the show ended once and he seemed like he really did try his best to please the fans and respect Andy.
Also, those last 2 episodes made me shed man tears.
pleb general?
>>62995880
they are banned during off season
>>62995825
Lucy Lawless' tits made me shed man tears.
The Pits was the most based episode.
>>62995570
If we're bringing up anime, Legend of the Galactic Heroes easily trumps Spartacus in terms of big moments.

this desu
She got better with age man
that ass them titties those thighs
hnnngggg
someone post a screen of her naked on Spartacus
>>62996137
Fuck everytime I watch an episode I feel the need to fap afterwards.
Except Barka/fuccboi episodes. Those are toosad
>>62995932
That dude was awesome, that handicap match was so exciting. Show really threw me for a loop with prequel and when I loaded up the next season I was even more surprised to find that my actor was gone. Sucks that he died. I never got over that, never watched another episode. I mean to, but fuck, I really liked the original actor and the transition was to much at the time.
I wouldn't consider Spartacus a great show, but damn was it entertaining. I mean the story was alright, but it relied far too much on nudity and CGI.
dat final scene from season 1 where all the gladiators surround batiatus is brilliant so many awesome moments in that show
>>62996213
It took me ages to get used to Liam in the role, but by the end he does alright. I'd tell you to go watch the last couple of episodes just to experience the finale, but without enough time spent with S2 and S3 to get used to Sparty 2.0 it might not have the full effect.one day you really should though
>>62996340
It took me years. Literally from when Gods of the Arena ended and S3 started while it first aired, I couldnt watch it. I only rewatched it last year to the end, and it was ok. But Andy will always be my Jupiter
spartacus may be the greatest man in history
>>62996213
WHY DID HE HAVE TO DIE. FUCKING WHY
>>62996340
I think you're right. I might not have thought to watch it for a while if this thread hadn't popped up, but reading the positive comments herein I think I'll watch it soon.
>>62996213
One of the only celebrity deaths to affect me
>>62996373
I still can't really into Vengeance. Everything felt a bit off, but WotD is almost as good as BaS and GotA
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wE_Y5brW-ZE
Is this still coming out? Would/could you watch it?
>Tfw no Rome prequel with based Crassus and the First Triumvirate
that varro scene fucked me up what would you guys do if you had to kill your best friend or both of you die what would you choose? fucked up shit man
>>62996629
they've pretty much hinted at a Caesar focused sequel so fuck mang they might who knows
>>62996597
i'd watch it and probably cry like a bitch
>>62996597
No. Too real. Ignore all life's pain. Ignore all life's pain. Going back to /a/
>>62993669
I love Spartacus, it's fun as fuck and enjoyable to watch.
But it's still not as good as Rome. And why are you bringing up Deadwood? It's also vastly superior.
>>62996668
>>62996629
I'd love a tv series based around the first triumvirate, that or Sullas dictatorship. This shit gets me hard, there aren't nearly enough movies/tvseries based on Roman history of that period, always boring imperial shit
>>62995932
Was Gannicus the best Gladiator in the show?
I honestly couldn't swallow Liam as the new Spartacus, it really lowered the quality of Vengeance for me so I have no desire to watch War Of The Damned.
>>62996825
Gannicus or Oenemaeus were the best fighters. Spartacus was a better leader. Crixus was too much of a hothead but still a great fighter.
>>62996213
i agree. Liam is a bit too theatrical with his monologues with nearly zero facial expressions and lacks Andy's intensity. you can feel so much with Andy's performances even when he doesn't even say a word.
>>62996533
Vengeance had the GOAT Ilythia moments though. Romans more than carried the weight for me.
Besides, Naevia's actor change was way fucking worse than getting used to Liam, I tell you what.
>>62998558
>Naevia
you know i forgot about her until you brought back bad memories.
>>62998609
And that new bitch took Crixus down with her.
>>62996895
Spartacus was the best at the end
Spartacus > Theokoles > S1 Oenemaeus > Gannicus >> Crixus
Fucking Tiberious and Caesar lol.
>>62998772
>Caesar?
>Why are you not on your horse?
>>62998772
Remember that time a stupid little fuccboi ass raped Julius Caesar.
>>62998985
I got a boner because of the age difference.
>>62999079
