Watched this yesterday. Don't get what's so good about this. I mean, it had a nice and comfy atmosphere and it was nicely filmed but the story and characters were seriously bland and uninteresting. Felt pretty much the same way about In the Mood for Love. Are all of WKW's movies like this?

Anyone else think this movie was kind of ahead of it's time? Imho it nailed the development of Asia, and on a side note the fashion in it sort od represents modern mainstream-fashion, for example like the crosses in the picture. Even though the movie came out a long time ago.
