Why didn't Blofeld's brain torture seemed to have none of the effects to Bond? Is there an explanation in the movie? Was Bond just lucky? Or did it actually work an the last 30 minutes of the movie is just in the mind of a lobotomized Bond and we don't know it yet?

The writers didn't care and audiences these days are too stupid to care. You'll remember that seconds after the torture failed to work (or do literally anything) there was a large action sequence with multiple petrol explosions and Bond pew pew shooting bad guys. That calms the normie's brain and lets him quickly forget any perceived inaccuracies.
The second half of this film really failed to deliver on a somewhat promising first act/half.The whole 00 retirement plot line was piss poor. Im just not sure what the writers were thinking with Blofeld and his motivation etc. and how it all unravelled, it fell totally flat.
i thought for sure they were gonna do a thing with him thinking that his new frenchfu was vesper due to the brain fuckery, and it always being used to explain future womanising or something. like it made him think all women were the same or some shit

As for why the second drill, I didnt know if it had worked or not. I chalked it up to Blofeld not being as methodical and intelligent as he thought he was, basically thought he knew it all when he didnt. it even diminishes those earlier movies for me, because Spectre was pretty fucking retarded
perhaps the very worst Bond movie in terms of story/ scripting. The dialogue was lazy, the plot was utter garbag, with only Kojima of MGS-fame being worse in tying everything together, where once you were content in finding no connections
the only thing that dulled its retardation was that it, like Skyfall, was a pretty-looking movie

Why didn't Mr White just tell Bond the coordinates of the secret base? He makes Bond find his daughter, get his daughter to take him to a hotel, hope he figures out how to get into the secret room, and then find out where he's supposed to go from there? It just seems like a lot of unnecessary steps - especially since Bond has fucked every woman he's met in the series and half of them died shortly afterwards. Why do that to his daughter when she was safe?
