the movie industry would be better if this did not exist.

i use it to find out which new dvd-releases to pirate
Master of None has 100% with 53 fresh votes.
It's time for a new site. Someone needs to step up and start actually critiquing shit again. RT is a shillzone.
lol no.
If RT didn't exist studios would have made money on Mortdecai, Fantastic Four, Pan and Pixels this year. Every film that flopped hard this year flopped at least in part because of RT.
If it wasn't for RT studios would be turning out even more schlock than they do now.
So, movies would magically not suck if one random website that aggregates review scores didn't exist?

It would be better if it got rid of bloggers who're allowed to have their reviews added to the aggregate.
It would also be better if people actually knew how to use it and didn't just look at the percentage.

well at least the "top critics" filter exists which I assume would remove most of them

all it's doing is exposing what shills critics are
so in that sense, OP, I guess you're right: the movie industry would be better off if the public didn't have a reference tool exposing how much critics are part of marketing movies. because, you know, it'd be easier if they could lie to us without being caught.
down with RT!

>starting up a new site would make critics shill less

>Mortdecai
Everything you said was true except this part. It would have failed no matter what, thanks to the shitty marketing. Literally never heard of it outside /tv/
