True, but Keanu's character barely qualified as John Constantine to begin with. He didn't bring the bantz and he wasn't as scummy an asshole as he should have been. Matt Ryan's John is tamer than Keanu John, but more faithful. He even looks like John as an added bonus.

I wish Keanstantime was a different character altogether. John doesn't really fight, nor does he posess any holy weaponry. Keanu's character could have spun off into a franchise. Hell, maybe even a crossover, which kind of already happened.

I gave the movie 5/10. I gave the pilot of the series 3/10, and refused to watch any further episodes.
So I'll say the movie, but am happy to admit that the rest of the series may have been superior.
