See, I love Carnivale and if it were allowed to finish I have little doubt that it would be my favorite show of all time. But it's not forgotten, just cancelled. Carnivale and Deadwood are the most talked about HBO shows, hell more people talk about them than they do pretty much any current HBO shows GoT and maybe Girls notwitshstanding. Current show The Brink has a future spot next to In Treatment as one of the great lost HBO shows.

I remember years ago I was in a place where there's no internet connection or tv and I was bored as fuck and I really forced myself to watch the dvd of S1 True Blood on my laptop. I really couldn't do it and only made it to six episodes and just dropped it despite the fact I literally had nothing else to do.
