It's very specific so I'm gonna try to explain it.
There's a kind of shot in every shitty trailer where it's a helicopter shot of something "cool" or "beautiful" like a cruise ship or a beach resort or a famous landmark. In the film it's a longer pan establishing shot, but in the trailer it is sped up so it zooms very quick at first and then slows down to show the location to the audience.
I've never a seen a trailer have a shot like this that turned into a good movie.

Narration in a trailer means you don't trust us to get the premise of the movie just by the images and clips you show. The least unpleasant way to do narration in a trailer is to cut up an expository scene from the movie and dub the trailer over with it. The most unpleasant way is with a narrator that only appears in the trailer, to directly tell the audience what your movie is about and why we should see it. It's basically the worst thing in show business, so unless you have someone with the sheer vocal charisma of Don LaFontaine delivering it, it's basically a complete negative. It harms your movie's profile, and it tells us you don't care that we don't care.
