Actually she is a really solid character with an interesting concept. She makes sure we can perceive and understand the progression of time and the crazy implications of it, while also showing the philosophy of immortality. No, it's good because the concept and plot is really good. It shows how reckless Clara has become in a subtle way and the consequences of her actions and it also shows once again the implications of immortality and how enough time can change a person. It also shows another side of The Doctor we haven't seen since the end of Human Nature/The Family of Blood. Overall it was really enjoyable and had no elements breaking the immersion or a bad plot.

This episode was fucking great because of the nice music, the entertaining mystery of the plot, the good montage of them looking for the street (both on the maps and walking around) and the fucking amazing atmosphere thay gave the street
It was one of the most enjoyable episodes we had for a while, and it also happened to have an important plot point in it, so all the better

That was the point, Clara was trying to be clever/one step ahead but it backfired and it killed her. Her tragedy is that she was trying to be like the doctor but she just wasn't good enough.
