2010 looks a little bit better in motion than it does in stills but it's still honestly hard to stomach at points? I'm usually not particularly autistic about quality but there's this line where it really starts to be upsetting, especially when it's a movie like Predator where it being dark and grainy added a lot to the atmosphere

How the hell do you fuck up that bad? You can scan the film negatives at 4K and downsample to 1080p and it would look amazing. Why try to remove ALL the grain? It's not like that's going to put off the buyers of a 1987 movie. In fact, it's going to turn people away because it looks awful.
