I think my post made it quite clear that I've already watched it.
Pacific was a relative let down, after the 10/10 that was Band of Brothers, I go into this expecting to see the same, but in the oft overlooked Pacific Theater.
What I got was 60% of the show being about places outside the war, watching people fuck each other and talk about how bad they want to go back to their brothers in combat.
I also couldn't grow attached to anyone in the show because it killed off, or wrote out the main character every 3 episodes and changed to new people.

I think the biggest issue with Pacific is that they tried to get whole Pacific war, and the problem is that alot of the people who fought in the first battles wheren't involved in the later battles.
I mean in BoB it is basically 1 year of war in European mainland from Normandy landings to germany. If they had involved North Africa and Italy aswell it would have been jumpy aswell.
