What do you think about 2 Broke Girls, /tv/? Legitimately funny or just pleb fodder?
Pleb fodder. It has some alright parts on occassion though. I think my main complaint with it, was that every character in that sitcom was Flanderized in the pilot episode for the most part. It's possible they've become deeper as the show has progressed, I don't watch it enough to observe that, but all the characters seem to follow their gimmicks and do/be little else.

Perhaps, but I think characters just being shallow and gimmicky would be more likely. Pre-emptive Flanderizing would be more meta than I'd expect a network sitcom showrunner to be.

It's not a great show or anything but I've found it to be fun to watch every now and then. They cast a couple of good looking women, each with a different look and they tend to just stick to them for story lines.

I don't get how the CBS comedy shows work on CBS at all. It's an older demo for that network and the bulk of their hit shows are straight up procedural show. At this point a large chunk of them are spin offs from other spin offs. CSI: Stockton, NCIS:Botanist Division, DatSerialKillershow: Part 12..
in that mix they throw some cheesy shit level comedy shows with laugh tracks and so on. Should be a total fail like pitching hybrid compact to truck drivers and yet every damn shows still seems to be a hit.
