>hadn't read dune
>just wanted an excuse to jerk off into the film
yeah nah. that movie would have been a travesty in a different direction. the sci-fi mini series ended up being the best adaptation and would have been better than that shit.

pretty much, it was always meant to be a disaster, jodo didn't have anywhere near a firm grasp on the material as he led everyone to believe. and half of what he claimed about the film was just nonsense with no trace of veracity whatsoever

This movie sounds so interesting. I hope Caruth can make it someday...
The great shoe with Kristen Stewart.
>In the said Kristen Stewart movie, the brunette beauty will be playing the role of Delphi. She is a foot model and sex worker who decides to help a shoe designer in need of direction
All that glorious foot fetish pandering, lost like tears in the rain.

The ideas extraneous to Dune were still pretty fucking interesting and it would have been a blast to see that sci fi movie.
Also some of the things he wanted to add were in line with the book's concepts.
The series is more of a 1:1 adaptation but that doesn't make it "better".

A lot of work for a nonexistent movie.
