he had that goofy double barreled pistol that was fun
if they cut down the mystery "muh serious plot" stuff they could have given him a touch more exposition, but i personally like it when muscle bad guys are depicted as a force of nature that is almost impossible to deal with directly. I would have still kept him with no lines, but show some ways he achieves his goals through cunning intelligence, and Bond has to beat him through some really over the top clever means. So the train scene really should have ended with Bond thrown out of the train, bad hench takes the girl to his fuckdungeon for a full penetration scene, she falls in love with the hench. they decide to elope, but leave a little helper for bond, so he gets there and finds the fuckdungeon, and finds the location of the big bad in the note. et.c
