Any show with a laugh track is inherently shit. Seinfeld is the exception that proves the rule.

I've held that position before too. But if you want to be well-versed in British TV you still have to watch some things with laugh tracks. Blackadder and Fawlty Towers at least. Father Ted is worth watching too. Same with Yes Minister, Mr. Bean, Young Ones, and Bottom. They're part of the comedic tradition that blends into other shows. I think Stewart Lee and Armando Iannucci make the best comedy, and to appreciate them I think it's necessary to get a sense of the shows that formed them. Graham Linehan had a guest appearance on I'm Alan Partridge, so it's a pretty good sign that there was some co-appreciation between him and Armando.
Humans is sort of decent.
Its made by the people who made utopia, and its a remake of 'Real Humans', the swedish show. It has qt robots in it.

Roseanne, at least the earlier seasons, stands out as well. Impeccable writing, great delivery, very different than contemporary shows.
