To be quite honest, I have yet to see better movies.
They're pretty much my favorite.
If you liked them watch "The Day After", too! It's basically like Threads set in the U.S. but not as good. Still a good movie.

Well, I already named Dead Man's Letters, Threads and The Day After.
Others I've seen are O-bi, O-ba - Koniec cywilizacji (can be watched, really not too shabby) and When The Wind Blows, which is a pretty nice animated movie.
I think I downloaded a few more but I haven't seen them yet.

Seen at the first projection during a horror film festival, with the director and the main actress in the room.
3/4 of the people left the room halfway because disgusted.
I overheard another director that had to share the taxi with the one for this film saying to a journalist that he was actually fucking scared of having to share a taxi with someone that wrote such a film.
It wasn't even that scary.
Just a shit movie, badly directed, full of unnecessary rape and violence.
Probably the worse film I've ever seen.
