In the book equivalent of the scene where Sansa slaps Sweetrobin for knocking over her castle, she also rips the head off his doll because he smashes it into her snow castle. This is a red herring. We're meant to THINK the Ghost of High Heart is seeing the doll being slain and the 'castle' in her vision is actually tiny, and the doll LOOKS like a giant.
But actually, she was seeing an ACTUAL giant get slain in a castle of snow with Sansa there (ie Winterfell).

The Greyjoys retreated when Theon wasn't Theon anymore, refused to go with them and would have been a hindrance, on top of actually biting his sister.
The brothers of the Night's Wach were divided on what they thought of Jon when he became Commander and that divide only widened throughout season 5, not to mention the assassination was led by Alliser Throne who hated Jon from the beginning.

Stannis army is all footmen and sorrounded by horses at the start of the fight. Theres literally no way the Boltons prime target could run away in that situation.

If the writing was any good, she would have only found Stannis because both had a REASON to be at Winterfell. Not everyone hated Jon and some even agreed with him. Edd even changed his mind did he not? Not everyone in the Night's Watch was even involved with Jon's assassination, only a few were. We also don't know what their plans are now for the wildlings.
