Carl is undeniably one of the greatest television characters of the last 15 years, and indeed, of all time.
Thinking otherwise is a sure sign of a pleb.
Well, you've convinced me.
Do you have a single fact to back that up?
"Stone Cold Lock of the Century" alone outdoes most entire tv shows if we're being 200% honest.

Listen to this guy!
Undeniable, OP. He changed the game. Kramer 2.0 right there. Top five sitcom neighbors for sure.
5. Gladys Kravitz (Bewitched)
4. Carl Brutanadanadalewski (AQTHF)
3. Larry (There's Company)
2. Mr. Roper (There's Company)
1. Penny Nolastname (Big Bang Theory)
I'm trolling. Number one is George Jefferson (All In The Family).

Not OP, but I'll bite.
Carl grows as a character. It's slow, gradual, seemingly incidental, but as ATHF progressed he became a warmer presence to the Aqua Teens and eventually had a bit more depth than 'fat swearing gjy with funny accent'.
Carl was such a hamburger American, a porn addicted, screaming, violent, thuggish asshole with nothing to his name but a rental. property and a badly modded sunfire. He was a relic of the 90's that never got properly referenced outside of ATHF, guys like Carl were everywhere but the widespread uses of the internet and the ease of gaining (and losing) money basically got rid of men like him entirely. He's an alcholic sadsack who never had a chance at anything remotely satisfying or happy and just makes do with his few creature comforts, the cost of which was basically cohabitating with three anhtropomorphic food monsters.
Despite this, he eventually tolerates the Aqua Teens in part becauze he sees how fucked up things could be if something 'replaced them' (s5e1, Robots Everywhere). He's your standard townie dipshit who learns to quiet his prejudices because they are as good as it's going to get and eventuay he comprehends this.
