He was never loud or mean, but had high expectations. He knew his reputation and, without mentioning anything would put a little Charlie Brown Christmas tree up the week of Christmas. He also randomly brought in a TV one day and in his calm, cold delivery told everyone that we would be watching a film that day. We didn't know what to expect until he said it was "Donald Duck in Mathmagic Land". I loved how he played against everyone's expectations of him.
