I think that's why the scene is so effective. Jimmy's body language and arbitrary insistence seems to indicate he had nefarious ideas and she was going to be killed or kidnapped as a way to extort Henry etc.
But the thing is too, if they just wanted to kill her or Henry then they would have just done it. I think the way the scene is put together really captures the paranoia that the two are feeling at the time - how much coke they are doing, the fact that people didn't believe them when they said they were "seeing helicopters" etc.
The fact that it's still a bit ambiguous is what makes it so effective. It's a well-done bit.

I think because this part of the film is showing how greedy, corrupt and powerdrunk the boys had gotten. They were all rich as shit, and Morrie just wanted his fare share for setting up the deal.
But Morrie annoyed them, and it was more money for them.
After Morrie they just started killing everyone.
Scorcese understood the mob story and told it well.
