Do you think I'm a bad Bond fan if I still haven't watched a single Craig film yet?
They look so....... "meh"
not at all. I think a significant part of the Bond franchise died when the USSR did, there's no reason for proper espionage anymore.
Whats the best Bond film?
I'm the same, OP. I won't watch Craig's Bond films, simply because they look like generic action flicks with contrived transparent emotion.

For my money: on her majesty's secret service
Tbh OP you should at least watch casino Royale, it's pretty solid. Coming from a guy who considers Dalton the best
>>62733521
Is there a cheesier chase in all of the franchise?
>mfw this is literally John Waters tier camp
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pZekeE9TsL4
Casino Royal is top Bond material.
Skyfall was a pretty good celebration of old styled bond.

Well the next movie did have an invisible car and windsurfing...
>>62733521
I think your a memeing lier from /reddit/ son
>>62735011
OH FUCK I didn't even remember that one!
the windsurfing scene would make a Bane tier meme if properly exploided

Seems pretty tame compared to some of the Dalton stuff.

>implying the aston Martin ice chase wasn't glorious
>implying the truck chase in LTK wasn't a top tier stunt scene

>tfw the best Bond got the worst films second only to Moore
>>62735167
He was good in his first too, but he became too goofy down the line. People forget moore was solid in FYEO and spy.
Also debatable, I mean, a view to a kill is bad, but world is just boring, and DAD is, well... Just watch the clip again
>>62735097
Easily one of the worst scenes, the CGI literally fucks up the entire thing. Never mind how retarded it already is.
>>62733521
It's hard to get enthused about the films when you've already seen 20 versions of the same shit.
>mfw he outran the explosion in the missile silo
so if the cycle of bonds holds true we're due for another cheeky bond after craig (serious bond) leaves, who's up next? pls not idris elba
I just got back from seeing Spectre.
What a piece of shit. I was so goddamn bored, and I really liked Skyfall.
Like that whole car chase where nothing happens. Ten fucking minutes of FAST DRIVING. No tension, no real threat (oh no he is following me!), just fast driving and then it ends.
I was really bored by the 2 hour mark, and then the location changed and I realized that we hadn't even gotten our climax yet.
>>62733595
this is my main problem with modern Bond movies. I really don't care about some hacker nerd or whatever.
One of my favorite Bond movies has one of the worst and laziest puns. There's some bad in the good ones, and some good in the bad ones.

Just finished The Living Daylights.
Dalton is definitely my favorite Bond.
>>62739447
too bad he only got two movies
>>62733521
Early Bond used to gross upwards 10-15 times the budget. Nowadays they consider 2-3 times a success :S
>there's a difference between a profit of €50-100 and €300-400!!!
Ye, I understand this, but previously the profit let the company produce another 5-10+ films, while today the can only produce 2-3 films which leads to a less diverse market and more of the same "profitable" films. This will be the end of the hollywood era.

Casino Royale is what a bond movie should be
None of this Mission Impossible shoot em' up sequences. Gadgets, espionage, tuxedo's, poker and the occasional action sequence
Bond movies literally write themselves, im astonished at how the directors and writers fuck it up
>>62740173
Never forget how the producers and studios fuck things up.
This is Sony after all.
>>62733521
>what is dollar inflation
thunder ball made $1,127,736,544.21 in today's dollar worth
>>62733521
This infographic is horrendous. What the fuck is that circle about? Is it going by area? Why do Moore and Connery share a ring? Why is that bar graph using triangles instead of bars?
>Pleb - Craig Bond
>Hipster - Dalton Bond ("let me explain to you why he's the best as he is the most accurate portrayal of Bond)
>Patrician - Connery/Moore
>>62733521
So what you're saying is that you're a fairweather fan?

>I Was Born in the 90s - Brosnan Bond
>I Suck Dicks for a Living - Lazenby Bond
