Sure, it might not be intellectual and nihilistic like your french white people films, but you gotta admit that it was a really solid action flick.
reddit the movie

That was the real mistake. 90% of these people are anti social autists.

only good marvel movies ever made are Cap 2, Iron Man and Ant-man, the rest are trash.

Hulk '08 is the best and most underrated Marvel movie. The entire film is Edward Norton being hunted down by the millitary.
There's no saving the world from doom, no superheroes or supervillains, and best of all; no wisecracks and sub-tier "jokes".
>>62719299
Yes, I am anti social and a autist, but it's obvious to anyone with half of the Hulks IQ that the Avengers 2 is nothing but pigfeed

it was shit

Fucking kill yourself OP
It was better than that horseshit winter soldier. Other than that's elevator fight, the jet fight, and the knife fight its completely forgettable
>>62719562
Still better than almost every other marvel movie.
>>62719626
I literally have no idea what's going on in the final act of winter soldier
>>62719638
Either do I, movie was contrived as fuck however it's still much better than the others.
>best movie of 2015
what kind of shit films did you watch?
>>62719541
I posted that.
I just wanted to say Age of Ultron was actually legitimately underwhelming. I didn't care for the first Avengers either.
I love most of the single films but I feel like these guys really just don't work together.
Its like
> Watch Thor, its a fantasy flick
> Watch Captain America, its a spy espionage flick
> Watch Iron Man, its an action SciFi flick
> Watch Avengers, its a clusterfuck..
>>62719537
I prefer the Ang Lee Hulk.
Probably because it was more about Banner than Hulk.
>>62719262
You should be killed.
>>62719262
9/10 solid b8
not even the best action flick / capeshit of 2015, that would be Kingsman
>>62719262
This was Phantom Menace-tier garbage and anyone who honestly thinks otherwise is a poor excuse for an adult human being.
>>62719537
This. I have no idea why that movie is so underrated.
Much better Hulk design too. French director gives us a physically-perfect Greek god of a Hulk, American beta male TV writer gives us a fat green gorilla with the face of Mark 'mangina' Ruffalo.

But it wasn't "solid". It was silly.
It felt like too much set up for other films. Ultron wasn't really a threat either.
Was it enjoyable? Sure, an enjoyable popcorn flick. But a solid film? No. It was half a film at best. Marvel have really begun dropping the ball.
People don't dislike it because it isn't intellectual, they dislike it because it doesn't have many merits. We can all enjoy different genres.
Remember you can criticise a film that you enjoy (too many people don't realise this).
Why was it solid?
>>62719262
Did you miss the part with the flying truck?
>>62720880
That's a surprisingly level-headed and intelligent post.
tbqh senpai I haven't even seen Avengers 2 and I don't plan to either. I just wanted to get a rise out of people.
The age of ultron is actually a direct example of the age of ahriman, which is some esoterically deep shit. Basically, Ahriman is the cold, mechanical end of the spectrum of consciousness that thrives on extreme rationalism and survivalism. It`s opposite, Luciferianism, is characterized by the MPDG types who seek pleasure and party life away. I thought the movie was a good portrayal of the subject.
>>62720998
to add to this, the promethean element of man attempting to solve a perceived future problem by creating the elements that constitute it is also a great lesson.
>>62720963
>tbqh senpai I haven't even seen Avengers 2 and I don't plan to either. I just wanted to get a rise out of people.
Fair enough! Have a good day, anon.
>>62720998
You should watch the Animatrix
>>62719422
>But Ultron was a horrible villain.
He wasn't a threat at all, his plan was awful and he was introduced far too quickly and really not explained enough for my casual friends to take interest.
>>62720998
>>62721050
The same studio that made animatrix, Studio 4°C, also made an anthology film with an interesting short on the subject.
Look up limit cycle

holy shit it did come out this year
You know I've watched so much capeshit at this point the years just blur together. I really thought this came out in the same year as guardians of the reddit
>>62719262
/tv/ hated Dredd.
>>62719422
I honestly don't remember a single villain from these Marvel flicks besides usually the one most recent (not even that at times) or Thor's brother.
>>62719262
98% of /tv/ isn't capable of formulating opinions. Regurgitated rotten tomatoes reviews.
>probably the best movie of 2015
No god no.
>>62719262
It's one thing to saw it was decent when you originally thought otherwise, it's another thing entirely to call it the best movie of 2015 you fucking disgusting pleb.
The opening scene is terrible, the CGI is cringeworthy. It gets better from there.
The Age was actually a couple days.
>>62722202
fuck no, /tv/ loves Dredd you faggot
>>62719262
>it was actually decent
>probably the best movie of 2015
Really? So you've only seen worse than decent movies from this year?
It felt like filler, really. Which for something that's basically an event, it's the worst thing it could be.
The "rogue Hydra bases" plot was dealt with too fast, I felt.
Ultron wasn't threatening at all, and was way too quip happy (though seeing as he's basically Stark gone off the deep end it's kinda understandable). Not saying that the character was bad. I'd say he was the best even.
The pacing was garbage thanks to the "Flint's family" bit. And also they had to cut out Thor's sub plot and that led to a confusing mess.
There was zero consequences at the end of the movie. Tony making Ultro mattered jack shit at the end, and he and Steven left on good terms. Which considering the next movie is fucking Civil War it wasn't a good idea.
>>62719262
this movie made me hate cinema in general.
I can no longer take any form of recorded entertainment seriously, including 'good' films, whatever the fuck that means.
The only thing I do now is go to work and play videogames.
>of all the things Ultron could done he lifts a fucking city and tries to drop it
It was exactly the same concept as the first Avengers.
Just switch the aliens with robots.
