Yeah you do need a suit you fucking moron, the moon doesn't have an atmosphere so when facing the sun your skin would boil.
Pretty accurate, mostly because they don't really focus a lot on the science part. It's just the setting for the movie.
The only thing which gets me is that we're not sure if there's enough He3 on the Moon to start a mining business. It'd be a potential economic boom if there was. But we still would have to go up there and survey it to rule out whether or not there's an abundant supply.

Watched this years ago while some what tipsy. Thought it was pretty decent. But need a second viewing now to really decide.
