I wouldn't agree with them. It's a completely different show now (which is a good thing), but the early stuff is a lot more "timeless".
Depending how it ends, Season 19 might be be the best.

That's because they are old men now and have relevance. They feel like they need to do social commentary instead of funny bits now. It's all right and I understand it but as a 20-something I absolutely love the older episodes because I have the same mentality that they had when they made them. I'll probably get to be more boring like them in the future too.
