Maul and Grievous should have been the same character (something that was considered and abandoned). Dooku/Tyranus should have been the visible "Big Bad" manipulating the Neimodians and other Separatists from Episode 1, with Palpatine only being revealed to be the true Sith Lord in Episode 3.

Darth Maul should've stuck around through all the movies, really.

Boba Fett should have died in the prequels just to show that another bounty hunter takes his identity. We see that Fett is actually a clan of hunters (renegade mandalorians). That way we can have a new Boba (which we say now means "prime") on the new trilogy.

Seriously. What was the point of having him kill Qui Gonn and then get killed immediately afterwards? That's the exact kind of thing that should have set him up as a main villain. Like, then Episode 2 could have involved Obi Wan finding new info about Maul (tied to the clones or some bullshit) and dealing with all the emotions that it brought back up, but with him ultimately resolving to bring Maul to justice instead of blindly killing him. Then in Episode 3 he could have replaced Dooku at the start with Anakin killing him and being all "I avenged your master Obi Wan" and Obi Wan being all "No Anakin that's the path to the dark side". It would have been like poetry.

dooku should have just been a legit dark jedi and not a sith from ep1 that left hte jedi order on his own amd sheev mutilated him into starting the war..... it would helpthe scene where dooku tells obi-one everything
