So I just watched this after reading some reviews about it and don't understand why people disliked it so much. Apparently the trailer painted it as something else then what it actually is but I'm not sure how that makes the movie bad. It's nothing amazing but damn give it some credit for being an interesting movie at least. I guess people just disliked it because it wasn't the funny pot movie about a nervous dude that everyone thought it would be? I'm curious what the census is on here.

That's a good question. I didn't really know anything about it before hand besides what I read from reviews but it's just a weird action movie. I wouldn't say it's amazing or anything and it has plenty of problems but I'm sure it's going to end up being a cult film for it's stylization.

I completely agree with you and he was not the character they should have used. I can't stand how he looks in the movie and he comes off extremely pathetic but on a general level the movies at least interesting and I enjoyed watching it. I think it's not worthy of being a 50/100 movie on metacritic is all I mean to say.

I was looking through the posters and they're all absolutely horrible. this is the only one I could find that didn't make me angry. I'm not doing a great job at selling the movie and it's up for you to think if it's good or not but I'd say at least to give it a watch. I think the action scenes are worth it if anything.

Nope, he covers years of shitty storytelling by making up his own story and says thats what it was supposed to be. HHH was a cancer in wrestling all those years and celebrating him is beyond pathetic and seems like a cheap attempt to get some attention from the company now that he's going to run it soon.
I appreciate the idea behind it but as a real fan who loves wrestling and wants to see the wwe actually tell good stories again, his video is not accurate and again filling in the gaps that the wwe never intended to tell is counterproductive to actually getting good stories again.
Finished watching it literally 5 minutes ago. I think it had great potential but it fell in the good ol' hollywood trap.The acting was mediocre and the writing formulaic and predictable.
A rewrite, recast and Edgar Wright directing it and boom, a cult classic.
