It looks gorgeous and I fully believe the trauma of Laurie and her story and its conclusion is heartbreaking and spooky.

Hmm. Sounds like you and I have different criteria for greatness, but thanks for your response, anon. Maybe I understand the cult around this film a bit better.
>>62666272
It's not a happy ending and I am sucker for sad or 'bad' endings. The ending makes me feel the trauma and actions of the evil just carved her hollow and it's very scary.
What's your Letter/RYM/Trakt/IMDB/whatever account?

What do they think of Lords of Salem? I liked that one, am I one of the cool kids?
Amazing how this thing got to be. Maybe not on the surface, but still. Arriving from some loose place to there up high. Really makes one wonder. Am I too accepting of their influence? Numb goes the mind craving them answers. Treason to oneself is hard to see. Hard that it be, it's now and here.

I was born in 1996 and I'm not like my peers. I have a great dislike for star wars and capeshit alike. In fact, I consistently talk about film in person. Parajanov, Bresson and Altman are among my favourite directors and I like to assert my superior knowledge over people my age. I suspect that I know more about film than 99% of people. It's pathetic really. All I can do now is just watch the normies gather in droves to watch their commercial entertainment. Implying I'd support any mass media chains. I always laugh whenever I talk to someone about movies and they bring up something that is yet to released. I think to myself, "like really? you think I'd stoop to support any hollywood production made in the past 3 decades". At the end of the day film is more than a pastime for me. So, when someone asks me what I'd do if the vulva slapped my girl's ass, I would simply reply, " Rosebud :( "
