It's October! Where are all the horror movie threads?
Name a better psychological horror movie than pic related
The Human Centipede

That's gore horror. Not psychological horror

Is Beyond the Black Rainbow psychological horror?

Fine. Well if you want to be an autist about it, Jacob's Ladder is a psychological thriller

>That's gore horror.
You've clearly never seen the movie because there really isn't any gore in it.
Eden Lake wasn't bad. Ending was odd. They kept building up to some kind of karma towards the antagonists, but instead it was bad luck after bad luck towards the hero. I guess that was the point, but if it was, it was doing it for the sake of doing it.
I also thought it was a little too torture porny.
Tenant, Repulsion
Polanski owns it all.
ps.thriller > ps. horror
Noroi: the curse is a favourite of mine. I just love everything about it, although I wouldn't say it's really scary. Definitely disturbing

>movie lies about the plot on the front cover
I'm not going to pretend it's better, but honestly, Oculus was really pretty good. Nice to see a haunting with a genuinely mysterious artifact and a spirit that was actually intimidating because of its mental manipulation tactics.
As Above, So Below was nice if you're interested in the occult, though it got hokey by the end because of budgetary issues.
The Eye had a really nice moment near the end.
Believe it or not, Annabel had one very good sequence - just one - involving a corridor and a lift/ elevator.
Event Horizon is talked about a lot, but it's nice.
So is The Thing.
