Yeah, basically this. That was my main complaint with the movie; Tarantino treated slavery not as a really evil ingrained societal notion, but more as a SPECTRE-esque cartoonish enemy that could be killed by shooting some rednecks. Yes, I know autism and all that and Tarantino probably did it on purpose, and I did still enjoy the movie to a degree.

I saw the original Halloween in theater a couple of years ago, at one point the screen went black but the sound was still going. After five minutes of no picture they sorted it out and rewound the movie to the point where the screen went black. I kinda wish I had walked out, realizing they were showing a shitty digital DVD rip of the movie killed some of the magic.
When I saw Lincoln the sound was terrible, everything was slightly distorted and there was a constant crackling type noise. I wanted to ask management to fix the problem but there weren't any ushers in the theater and I didn't want to miss any of the movie.

Worst theater experience of my life. A friend called me and another buddy and told us he had won these free tickets on the radio. So we went. Why we didn't walk out or sneak into another movie before or at the break, I'll never know. But we seriously considered asking for a refund during, it was that torturous.

Saw Lone Survivor In XD cinemark theater in Monroeville, PA last February. Black guy came in with his gf a couple minutes in movie and sat one row in front of my brother and I a few seats to the left. I shushed him after about 15 minutes into movie didn't listen. About 30 minutes later i decided to complain and the manager came in about 5 minutes after i did and gave him a warning. After he leaves the black guy isnt to happy and leaves while getting in my face saying "I beat yo ass ill see you in the parking lot afterwards im strapped in my whip ill fuck you up"
Nothing happend i left amd called theater next day amd explained they were pretty shocked. They guy got refunded his tickets for voluntarily leaving early and shit the night prior. I got 2 free passes amd thats the worst ive had. Fucking nigs man

Its biggest mistake was to be attached to Rodriguez's lesser work that, along with the trailers, set the wrong tone for what was to follow and proved to much to many of the already fatigued by that point audience.

I went to this Planetario place, which is a science museum + motherfucking dome shaped IMAX screening room. When I got there I realized most people who go there are families or students on school trips and I was therealone
So I was just waiting there leaning against a wall near the ticket thing since I didn't want to go see the fucking space shuttle model by myself. Then I see two staff people talking and looking at me, one comes up and asks if I'm waiting for someone and I say no, forced a smile and said "I'm here by myself and I'm here just for the movie" and said lol I'm a grown up and I don't want to go to the interactive science toy shit, he said "well there are some books there you could read, and those are for any age :)" I told him I was good and just waited there.
Then as I'm in the line, this rich fuck girl is asking her dad FUCKING OUT LOUD SO WE ALL HEAR if they can go to New York (this is fucking Mexico so most people around you would be brown poorfags)
When I was finally watching the movie I had to go to pee and someone had to walk me to the bathroom because you couldn't leave from the door we entered, and he said he would wait for me until I finished so he would walked me inside
