I cried when that Pavel guy spilled the wine and he was dragged away to die after his mistake ... was a really sad movie.
>>46676715
I didn't know what to feel at the end of this. Shit was fucking confusing. I mean, there were pretty sad elements, but then some things left me completely bemused, while others were hilarious.
>>46682594
Yeah ... and somehow this movie's supposed to be a comedy. It's fucking sad.
No. I'm not joking.
>>46682699
Who says it's a comedy?
>>46685139
Because you wasted your time?
>>46676715
My ex and I used to watch this every so often and have a good cry, was one of our favourite movies. Our four year relationship ended six months ago and I'm afraid to watch it again because I think in my crippling loneliness it'll break me.
>dat ending
I didn't cry but it sure as fuck shook me to the core
>>46685139
It made me cry because of all the wasted potential.
Both inside and outside of the movie.
I honestly do not cry at films, unless a dog dies or something of that nature. But the twilight samurai gets me close to tears every time, it really hits me on an uncomfortably personal level. When the main character explains to his uncle that all he wants from life is to watch his kids grow up and he doesn't care about his work or what other people expect of him, it makes me emotional and I don't know why. A lot of the film has this effect on me especially the ending. I just really identify with the character in all the wrong ways, I wish this film would get out of my head

>>46687108
fuck, you got me there
Still have yet to find another movie that is acceptable to cry in.
You, Me, & Dupree.
Yes. No, I'm not a faggot. I was going through bad times, Owen Wilson IRL was going through bad times, and then the scene where his friend asks him to move out appears. He plays it off all cool and laughs about it, his friend and gf go to dinner, come back and find Dupree sitting on a bench with all his stuff in torrential rain. Wilson looked so forlon.
>>46676715
I def cried at this but I don't do gay stuff like that anymore
Can't remember another one on the top of my head, I know there is atleast one other that has made me shed tears.

It's called bait, my friend. You'll see more of that the longer you stay
>>46678846
Why would you tell him to watch a shitty cash series of sequels?
>>46676715
I've come to the conclusion that Synecdoche New York is a love letter to Paradjanov's "The Color of Pomegranates". I'm amazed I've never seen anyone else compare them because there are several scenes in SNY which are unquestionably homages. In particular, the endings of the two movies are too similar for coincidence.
I don't even give a shit, I cried like five times during this movie.
>>46680955
Field of Dreams

The end of Annie Hall when the montage of Alvy and Diane Keaton plays.
Rushmore made me cry too.
>>46697029
I get sad when I realize Diane Keaton in the 70s was the perfect women and I'll never ever have the chance of getting with that. I was born too late
Probably because my father is a piece of shit.
A scene in the movie Junebug that will DES-FUCKING-TRY you. Its a movie that I've virtually NEVER seen discussed here whatsoever as well, whenever these threads pop up.
Mary and Max
Big Fish
Eternal Sunshine
The Hedgehog
also Marley and Me
>>46685139
The only thing that bothers me about this movie (haven't seen it but I gather this from the poster) is that those electrodes or whatever they are do not cover his frontal lobes.
>>46691199
>>46682594
>>46698175
Protip: Don't watch Eternal Sunshine with a new girlfriend.
Her is the most recent one.
