Op here. I did this thread last night with Snatch and pic related.

Across the Universe is also my favorite movie though, if that makes sense. And I'll tell you why.

The musical scores are amazing and some of the choreography is absolutely, astonishingly, based as fuck. Particularly "I Want You/She's so Heavy" ...my fav. But really the entire movie, (maybe not as much the beginning bits) is absolutely 10/10.

Moreover, I get immersed in these characters, and they belt out these amazing beetles songs, its like sugar on top of honey, but in the best way.

11/10

Op, I like your taste.

As a big fan of bond movies, I have to way Casino Royale (with Daniel Craig)

I know that most bond fans are a sucker for the older stuff, and I am too, but this movie really set itself apart from the other bond films for me.

Very well done.

And the cinematography. That shit is bananas

The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Forde

Everything about it is perfect to me. I love the pacing, the sound, the characters and find it extremely relaxing to watch.

I also saw a lot of myself and father when I was younger in Robert Forde and Jesse James' relationship which gives it a personal touch.

Great choice man thats a 10/10 in my book.
I really like most of brad pitts stuff but this movie is truly art with art in mind.

"He had a condition that caused him to blink frequently, as if the world was almost too much to take"
Or something like that.

Anyways, that narorator and that cinematography, and the story... Fuck it ... All of it. 10/10 just an awesome movie. I could go on, too.

I loved Across the Universe too. The Choreography and Cinematography were so good that I'm willing to forgive Bono on "I am the Walrus".

Greatest movie ever made. You simply cannot prove otherwise. Apocalypse Now is to Godfather as The Beatles is to ABBA.

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

I watched it for the first time two years ago just for the hell of it. Saw it was on Netflix and had time to kill. All I'd ever heard were great things, and I've never been a huge western fan or even a big Clint Eastwood fan, but I wanted to see what all the hype was about.

Holy shit it was beautiful. The scenes are action packed with a lot of built up tension and even a few laughs here and there. It had everything
