Are people seriously comparing TFA to the OT? What the fuck? The movie is on par with the prequels at best.

- Even if Rey isn't quite a Mary Sue, she is a extremely boring character with the classic "le tragic childhood" background that is good at everything and apparently 30x better than Luke at the force.
- Finn has zero character development throughout the whole movie, at the end he is exactly the same moralfag storm-trooper as he was at the start.
- That shitty droid just there for toys
- Han Solo and Leia very shittiliy developed and have some of the worst dialogue in the film
- Ren only decent character with depth, and also a huge rip off of Anakin
- That retarded huge eyed alien that is basically the new Jar Jar
- The extremely generic tie fighter pilot that we know nothing about other than that he's good at flying ships
- Very original idea of a dark and mysterious disfigured Sith secretly ruling the empire

- Starkiller base is also shittier than the Death Star since its 3x bigger and yet needs to charge for at least an hour for every shot while the Death Star doesn't need ammo and is rapid fire, so completely pointless to build it
- Exact same plot about a brave tie fighter pilot managing to fly in at the nick of time and take out the ONE SMALL WEAKNESS in the base (there were a million other original ways to take down the base but instead they just copy pasted ANH)
- The setting that was painfully constructed over six movies removed and replaced with two sentences in the opening crawl and all the characters magically teleport to where they exactly were in ANH

They spend three movies developing how the sith slowly gain power, then three more movies on how the rebellion takes it back. Then suddenly this whole new empire the good guys created which is at the height of its power, gets rekt by the sith, who we were told were nearly extinct. All we get explaining this is two sentences in the opening crawl. In addition to this the new rebellion looks exactly the same as the old one and had the same leader.

7 is just fanfic shit. Ren makes no sense at all, it makes no sense he adores Vader since Luke or anyone must told him he became good at the end and was burnt and even became a force ghost. It makes no sense he has force powers even Yoda was barely capable of who is 1000 years old. It makes no sense he joins the dark side and I doubt we'll ever get a good reason for this when Anakin wanted to save Padme's life. It makes no sense he suddenly loses to Ray who didn't even know what the force is and uses a sword for basically the first time. It makes no sense he freezes a blaster shot. This should not be possible. This was the main reason for whey they use blast weapons and not bullets in Star Wars, because Jedi could easily stop bullets. Now they can also just freeze plasma mit air. It makes no sense he doesn't even look 1 % like his parents.
And that's just this one character.
