Why is this episode so unappreciated? One of the best of season 4 imo. Hilarious bit of satire.

This list is completely fucked in too many ways to mention. Its obvious you are about 19 and never saw the show when it aired based on your rankings.

>>63363283
No I just gained a much bigger appreciation for the later seasons over the years.

>Kennedy and Heidi

This episode was not even top 50 m8. I found myself fast forwarding parts of this episode the 5 time into the series.

This.

After watching every episode when it aired, I had always rated season 1 and 2 higher than the later seasons.

After over 20 complete rewatches of the series, I saw that the reason I liked 1 and 2 more is because Tony was still sympathetic at that point, so as his character began to become more and more of an asshole and I liked him less and less, my nostalgia for the early years tainted my objectivity in my ratings.

The later seasons are superior to the first 2 in almost every way, with 6B actually being the best work of art in the past 50 years in my opinion.

The fact that I could have my opinion of the whole series effected so much by the mutation of Tonys character is a tribute to Gandolfini's acting and to Chase's writing and story telling.

I agree with this but everyone looks at me like I'm mad when I outright say it.

6B isn't even the best work of art on the show, let alone the best overall in the last 50 years.

How much cinema, literature, and art have you seen?

Don't forget music. Seriously, I love The Sopranos just as much as everyone else, but that's hyperbole to the extreme.

6B is definitely the best of the show, it's the most cinematic and refined season. All of the episodes (sans Chasing It) are masterpieces.

When will this meme end?

that ending to the episode was the best ending in any tv show in history

It had me in tears. No scene in any film/television show has captured the feeling of hopelessness and loneliness like this scene

Pine Barrens is in an extremely reasonable spot.

If you haven't even heard of it, then maybe not yet. Personally it made me feel existential dread like no other. Check out Ingmar Bergman films first. Stuff like The Seventh Seal, Winter Light, Scenes from a Marriage, Wild Strawberries, Persona etc.

Mr + Ms John Sacrimoni Request. The best wedding in film/TV since The Godfather itself.

With Funhouse in a very close second
