Anyway, I moderately enjoyed the first, mostly due to the setting and concept rather than the execution. So I would keep the aliens as game for the predators to hunt, incorporate the concept of the original Predator with some humans just trying to survive while the Predators go hunting, and leave out human and predator team up to stop da aliens bullshit.
Cast whoever, I honestly think if you just spliced the original AvP and the recent Predator together, it would be better than the two are seperately

Have it set 20 minutes into the future. Weyland Yutani is slowly absorbing all competition(since their meeting was shown at the end of AvP2), and the plot is land-grabbing expansionist humans run into a predator hunting ground. Keep the plot relatively simple, but make the humans relatively experienced and smart when not shitting their pants because aliens and predators.
Finale is Alien Queen + drones vs. Predator huntmaster and 2 younger hunters(they like triplicates iirc) vs. remains of the Marines/civvies using early-model powerloaders and weaponry while helping colonists off-world. End with stinger of a colonist chestbursting on the escape ship as a predator ship warps in.

I feel like at this point you'd have to put a tweest on the formula
Takes place on the Predator's home planet, follows a group of their species' youths having a hunt for one of those spikey dog things from Predators
They pal around, the viewer gets to know them, kind of like the opening scene of Apocalypto
But, awh shit, while one of them goes to pee, he gets picked off by a human cyborg bounty hunter with all sorts of neat gadgets and enhancements
The Predators try to make some traps of their own, but the cyborg outsmarts them and continues to whittle through the group until there's only two left.
The last Predators stumble into some kind of cryogenic with a Xenomorph egg inside. They know what it is, and thaw it out hoping that the facehugger will kill the human for them and they can deal with the chestburster when it gets out. But the facehugger attaches itself to one of the Predators instead.
The last Predator leaves his friend behind, and flees into the jungle. He makes a camp for the night, getting increasingly twitchy and paranoid before falling asleep. The next morning, some older Predator hunters find him and offer to escort him back to their village. They don't get far before the new Predalien finds them and makes quick work of the hunters, while the younger Predator steals a spear from one of their corpses and tries to fight the Predalien as best he can.
Just when it looks like the Predalien is going to deliver the killing blow, the Cyborg shows up and helps the last Predator to kill it, but is mortally wounded in the process. The Predator rushes over to him, and for a second it looks like the Cyborg is going to kill him as his last act, but he flips his gun around and offers it to the Predator as a gift, before dying.
I think it would be cool, anyway.

Morgan Freeman is an eccentric billionaire. His adoptive daughter, Jessica Biel, has grown up with a psychotic streak and she enjoys hunting dangerous creatures. This could work honestly. Have three likeable protagonists (Harrison, the disgraced predator and a drone with a personality) and the whole movie cuts between them as they work towards their own goals which they all achieve without dying. Harrison is trying to make sense of the situation and get off the planet without dying, the predator is trying to recover its gear from WY and restore its honor (could have some superior predator reprimanding it for being captured and publicly shaming it while other predators laugh, making it the sympathetic underdog) and the alien is trying to rescue the imprisoned queen and spread the hive (same underdog shit as the predator, have the queen chained up and forced to produce eggs at the hand of WY, making the subsequent butchering and mouthrape of nearly every human in the complex seem righteous and deserved). The audience is able to empathize with all three factions and leaves the cinema feeling warm and fuzzy in spite of the whole movie being an absolute bloodbath.

It did? I remember releasing it as the alien and having it go apeshit, bust through some walls and open up some new areas, but beyond that I dont think it had much of a role. I dont remember much mention of it at all in the predator campaign aside from killing one in the caves. I would think that the drone accessing secure areas could easily be put down to some other contrivance if the predalien wasn't wanted in a film adaption.

I'd try and make some 9 hour long artistic wank fest like Satantango or Berlin Alexanderplatz.
The 'alien' would be some immigrant character and the 'predator' would be some kind of sexual deviant.
Their two stories would be unrelated but tied together through a poor orphan girl who is abused by the predator but then met the kindly immigrant. The impact the relationship with these two men has on the orphan girl is the 'vs' element in the title.
The '3' would come from the fact it is centered around these three characters, and I'd include the traditional alien 'horror' but the horror would be in the bleakness of man's action, no shitty jump scares.
